Summer to Winter!

Hey friends! So, I was dreaming about this dress the other day and figured what the heck!? I'm going to make it work in December. Which made me also think about not defining your clothes. I hate that feeling that when we move into a new season, half of our wardrobe get's defined as "unable to wear" because it's not the right season! But when I look at of my summer clothes right now, I think if I layer them properly or pair them with something a little different, I can make it work in any season and get use of my wardrobe year round! Now, don't get me wrong. This isn't the case for everything! That bright floral mini skirt may not be the piece to wear all year round but there are so many other pieces that I can make work! Including this dress! Layer it with some legging or skinny jeans, a vest and some winter accessories and voila! There you have it! An outfit made up of predominately summer garments! So, challenge yourself! Instead of always going for traditional seasonal pieces in your wardrobe, try and use something you wouldn't regularly wear during that season. See what you come up with! I think you'll surprise yourself! :)
Thank you all for following along!! We're now down to 6 days before we depart for our honeymoon! Yaaaaaay! Make sure you follow along on Instagram so you can follow our journey!
