An Old Flame!

Hello everyone!! Hope you're having a great week! Sorry for the delay in a new post! My other half sadly broke his femur last Friday evening and went in for surgery that night! I ended up spending all day Saturday in the hospital with him and it's taken some time to get back into a routine at home!

This post is inspired by the wonderful Ani of Fleurani Blog! She does a series called "An Old Flame Never Dies" which inspired us bloggers to dig through our closets and recreate old pieces into a new look! Such a great idea seeing as though I keep everything! I see certain fashion garments like pieces of art...great creations that are super hard to part with! The shirt is about 10 years old from Guess, vest and the shoes are about 5 years old from Urban Planet, skirt is 4 years old from H&M, earrings I made about 4 years ago and the clutch I've had for about 6 years and was purchased from Goodwill so who knows how old it actually is! The only new thing in this outfit are my sunnies which I purchased off of Ebay from here! Hope you like it! I definitely challenge you to take a look at your wardrobe and try and recreate some old pieces and make them "new" again! xo

  4. Adrienne, you did an amazing job recreating a great and modern look with your oldies. Thank you so much for participating in my series. Really love this sheer polka dottes blouse with the ruffle along the seam, how girly yet playful it is :-). I hope you had fun with this challenge? :-)
